Dr. Daitz is Professor of Family and Community Medicine. He is an attending physician at the Pain Consultation and Treatment Center and the Project ECHO pain and headache clinic. Dr. Daitz is a multi-award winning documentary filmmaker, a frequent contributing writer to the New York Times, and a fiddle player. His novel "Delivery" is published by the UNM Press.
Dr. Daitz has a special interest in muscle and soft tissue pain. Myofascial pain is the most common pain complaint seen in general medical practice and pain clinics.
