What guidelines do you follow?
We use the CDC guidelines and other applicable guidelines for travel recommendations. These may be accessed online at cdc.gov.
How long do appointments last?
Appointments may last up to 2 hours.
What is the consulting fee?
The fee for consultation is $124.00, Immunizations needed are additional. Prices are subject to change.
When is the payment due?
We ask for payment at the time of service.
What should the patient bring for the appointment?
Patients should bring their itinerary and vaccination record to their appointment if they have them.
When should the patient arrive for the appointment?
Patients should arrive 15-20 minutes early to complete paperwork.
How are appointments made?
Appointments may be scheduled by the patient calling the Travel Clinic at 272-TRIP (8747) or the referring provider may enter a referral in Ad Hoc in Power Chart.
How long does it take to answer voice mail?
Messages left on the Travel Clinic voice mail will be answered in 48 hours.
Will the insurance cover any of this?
Most insurance plans do not cover travel medicine. But to be sure, please contact your insurance company. If the insurance does cover all or part, you may submit it to the insurance company.
