Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic provides care to patients who have difficulties with infertility and/or with reproductive endocrinology.

Services:

  • Counsel and teaching about reproduction
  • Medication management to induce or enhance follicle development and ovulation
  • Infertility testing (HSG's for example)
  • Intrauterine insemination (donor and husband)
  • Medical/Surgical management of numerous diagnoses to include endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss, perimenopause, and congenital reproductive anomalies.
  • Ultrasound imaging
  • Therapeutic Donor Insemination Program (TDI Program)
  • Management of patients in the IVF Program
  • Management of early pregnancy

RE&I Clinic also provides services to patients who are in need of high tech fertility services. Patient counseling, teaching and monitoring are provided in Albuquerque; egg retrieval, embryo transfers and other ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies) procedures (such as pre-implantation genetic diagnosis) are provided in Colorado Springs by a board certified reproductive specialist.

The REI clinic is also associated with the New Mexico Cryobank, an Andrology lab located downstairs from the clinic. Services provided by the Andrology lab include, semen analysis, semen freezes (for transport and cryopreservation for cancer patients), intrauterine insemination (IUI) sperm prep, and donor sperm storage, and IUI prep.

The clinic has 3 patient exam rooms and 2 ultrasound machines. Staff includes dedicated nurses and techs as well as specialized OB/GYN Faculty physicians and residents.
