Cardiac Cath Laboratory

The UNM Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (also known as the UNM Cardiac Cath Lab, or simply the UNM Cath Lab) is committed to serving the invasive cardiac needs of the Albuquerque and New Mexico community and to the continued development of a high quality, cutting edge, academic program in cardiovascular intervention.

The Cardiac Cath Labs operate 24 hours-a-day / 7 days-a-week; have been recently updated; are staffed by experienced full-time interventional cardiologists; and offer the full gamut of interventional cardiac care. The Cath Lab works closely with referring physicians on the UNM campus, locally, and throughout the state.
