Nursing Education: Your Path to Professional Nursing Excellence at UNMH

Nursing Technician (Pre-Nursing)
You will develop proficiency in basic patient care vital signs and learn to assist patients with activities of daily living.

Nurse Extern
Not only do you provide patient care, you also perform routine treatments and procedures. You will continue to increase your technical skills. You will have the opportunity to attend clinical education classes in the BATCAVE. You must be currently enrolled nursing school and have completed you first clinical rotation.

Nurse Intern
Under the direct supervision of a Registered, Nurse, you will begin to practice nursing, including patient assessment, medication administration, IV Therapy, implementation of the nursing process and MORE. Clinical Education professionals in the BATCAVE provide hand-on instruction, in classes such as IV and Phlebotomy Skills. You must be attending your senior year of nursing school and enrolled in N-429.

Nurse Residency Educators provide individualized support and guidance.
