An interpreter can be reached via your departments' video unit. Please use your video unit for: Spanish, Vietnamese, Navajo, American Sign Language (ASL) Video Call Center Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm |
| IDX Request | On-site interpreters will still follow the Rupert (IDX) Language Report. Please continue to enter the language preference at appointment scheduling. |
| Pacific Interpreters | This service provides interpretation services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any telephone in the HSC and is free to Clinics and Departments. The access code is the cost center xxxx1 and is used for data collection only. Dial 2-TALK (8255) and provide the following: Employee Name, Patient Name, Medical Record Number, and Language Needed. If you need to call a patient, Pacific Interpreters has the capability to provide a third party conference call for you. Have the patient's telephone number ready when you call. |

Remember, an ASL interpreter can be reached via your departments' video unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For appointments greater then 60 minutes, please pre-schedule an interpreter.
