Yes, if you qualify for the UNM Hospitals tuition reimbursement program, you can receive Tuition reimbursement and accept this scholarship.

Can I apply for your scholarship if I currently have another scholarship?

Yes, regardless of the number of scholarships you have, you can apply for UNM Hospital’ Scholarship program.

I have student loans.  Can I still apply for your scholarship?

Yes, you can apply for UNM Hospital scholarship program regardless of your student loan situation.

Will I get a Sign on Bonus if I apply and accept this scholarship?

No, recipients of UNM Hospitals Scholarship program will not be eligible for any Sign On Bonus program upon hire.

How much time do I have to pay back the Hospital if I accept the scholarship and then choose not to work at UNM Hospitals upon graduation?

If the Scholarship money is accepted and upon graduation you choose not to work at UNM Hospitals, you will owe the entire Scholarship amount within 30 days after graduation.

Upon graduation, will I be guaranteed a position of my choice?

You will be able to apply for the open positions and depending on availability, everything possible will be done to ensure your optimal choices are accommodated.  In the unlikely event there is not an open position upon your graduation, the two year work agreement contract is void.
