Radiology
The University of New Mexico Hospitals Radiology Department is dedicated to give our patients the highest quality of care by providing a wide range of exciting clinical, technological, educational and research initiatives. Our services are enhanced by state-of-the-art equipment in all areas including: CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, Mammography, and General (X-ray). In addition to the traditional radiology services, we provide Interventional Radiology procedures, such as Chemoembolizations, Radiofrequency Ablations, Neurovascular interventions, and Uterine Fibroid Embolizations to name a few.
The distribution and program commitment to excellence is achieved through our picture archiving and communication system (PACS) complimented with a voice recognition dictation system which allow our 25 faculty Radiologists to report on over 250,000 exams annually.
