Teens

We have many levels of volunteering for teens. During the school year we place teens 16 - 18 in mentorships and regular volunteer positions in many departments of UNM Hospitals. Each school's teachers, counselors and coordinators coordinate entry into this program. Students earn school credits for a semester of volunteer work. In the summer teens 14 - 18 are welcome to participate in the Summer Teen program. This is a great opportunity for younger teens to begin their volunteer experience. It is also an opportunity for teens that have volunteered for school credit during the year to continue their volunteer experience.
