The Legacy Society is named in honor of the community-minded citizens who first recognized the importance of supporting a children's hospital in New Mexico. The Society recognizes a very special group of people who desire to create a lasting legacy of hope by including UNM Hospitals in their estate planning.
By definition, a legacy is "anything received from or passed on by an ancestor." A legacy can be given in many ways, including money, securities, property and life insurance policies. Regardless of the value, a legacy gift to UNM Children's Hospital stands as a living tribute to individuals who care about children.
Those who choose to make a gift to Children's Hospital through a will or a trust will become members of the Legacy Society.
A member of the UNM Foundation staff can answer questions about including a bequest in your will, making Children's Hospital a beneficiary on a retirement account, setting up a charitable trust, or other ways to create a legacy gift. We invite you to explore the many options with us ...........
