Child Life

The goal of the Child Life staff at Children's Hospital is to normalize the hospital environment for children and their families in a safe, secure and clean environment. Volunteers are a vital part in making this happen. The volunteers are assigned to assist in providing age appropriate play, recreational and supportive activities, and in assisting in maintenance of both inpatient and outpatient areas. Volunteers may play games with school-aged children, build blocks with a toddler or cuddle and love an infant.
