CTH is the only hospital in the state specializing in complex pediatric orthopaedic care.  While there are other pediatric orthopaedists in private practice in the state, CTH is the referral center for a variety of complex or chronic cases requiring extensive surgery and ongoing treatment.  Specific areas of expertise include:

We have a dedicated professional staff ready to service you with quality patient care.   Our practitioners collaborate closely with other rehabilitation professionals to determine the appropriate prosthetic/orthotic device that will fit the needs of each individual patient.   The patient is evaluated by a doctor for the device, then our practitioners evaluate the patient for the customized design and fabrication of the prosthesis or orthosis.  We are a full service orthotic and prosthetic facility with a highly trained technical staff.  Our facility uses modern techniques and state of the art material to fabricate a variety of custom orthoses and prostheses.  Our practitioners ensure that each device is properly fit and instructs the patient on the functional use of the device.
