Support services for patients with sleep apnea, especially those using
continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), are provided for patients
followed by the Program's medical staff.
In addition, the Program provides weekly classes for patients just beginning
CPAP or for those who have been on it for some time. The class teaches
about Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), troubleshooting equipment, cleaning the mask
and equipment and is offered in both English and Spanish. If interested in
attending, please contact the Sleep Disorders Center at (505)272-6110 to sign up for
ones of the classes.
