Parking Changes - Effective Monday, February 18, 2008

Patients and Visitors:  Lomas/West Parking Garage Conversion and Pavilion Plaza Opening

The Pavilion plaza area is being readied for opening as the main entrance to the hospital.  In preparation, new parking and traffic patterns will be put in place.  Signs are going up on Lomas directing patients to the west lot for parking.

Effective February 18, the west lot will be patient parking and the Lomas lot will be staff parking.   Please note that this change does not affect those who park in Lands West (see below).  Also, in-hospital clinic patient drop-off and UNMH shuttle service (including Rail Runner shuttles) will continue to be accessed at the Lomas entrance to the main hospital.

Employees:  Traffic Pattern Changes Affecting Lands West Parking

Beginning Monday, February 18, Camino de Salud will be closed just west of the OSIS driveway and the (1209) Family Practice Clinic driveway.  Normal access to OSIS and the Family Practice Clinic will not be affected.

The designated access to the UNMH employee parking at Lands West will be off the I-25 frontage road north of Mountain Road.  This will be the only entrance to the existing UNMH Lands West parking lot.  The only exit from the UNMH Lands West parking lot is the driveway located just north of the CRTC-II job site and OSIS (the current exit).  This driveway is eastbound to University Drive.  Exiting onto University continues to be right turn (south) only. Camino de Salud closure is anticipated from February 18 to about mid-April.
