How to Request an interpreter at UNMH: On-site interpreter will
be following the Rupert (IDX) Language Report. We will try to meet as many
appointments as possible. However, if on-site interpreters are not available,
please utilize a bilingual employee (dual role interpreter) or Pacific Interpreters.
You can find their names and contact information in the "Interpreters Language
Services" website on the Intranet.
Pacific Interpreters: This service provides interpretation services
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any telephone in the HSC and is free to Clinics and
Departments. The access code is the cost center xxxx1 and is used for data
collection only. Dial 1-800-272-7442 and provide the following: Employee Name,
Patient Name, Medical Record Number, and Language Needed.
